January 11 Inside my fridge
Inside my fridge
As I tend to do a lot of eating from the local shop or frozen foods from the freezer, there is not much in my fridge. But the water jug is important as is the fruit to eat for snacks.

Not sure how big the sweet potato plant will get – but the capsicum is being dwarfed by the tomato plant. Two new vegetables I’ve not grown before.
Sorry no mail today so just a photo of the mailbox – blends in nicely with the foliage around it yet stands out enough when visitors need to find my place.
As I didn’t go outside at all today, it was hard to take a photo of a wall. So here is a wall in my house showing how hot it is 30+ degrees Celsius.
I know it is now time to mow the lawn but as I get bad hay fever will have to wait until the gardener can get here.
I hate having my picture taken which is why I take Davo Devil on tours with me. But just for today … Getting ready for the garden or maybe a walk along the beach.
Easy peasy – my computer! When I go travelling it is my iPad which I have on the seat beside me with all those fantastic travelling apps ready at my fingertips. When I am at home, it is my desktop PC with my Farmville 2 and Criminal Case games as well as my blogs. Couldn’t use my iPad with Instagram app on it to take photo of iPad so ……..
I know that many people have pet dogs or cats that they have probably photographed for today. But I don’t have any animals at my place. Instead I have a Tasmanian Devil named Davo who travels everywhere with me. He even has his own blog, but is not too good at keeping it up to date.

Usually I have a cup of coffee every morning, but today I went shopping and called into MacDonald’s for a chocolate whirl frappe. Then I noticed all the circles.
Naturally I had to take a photo of the gorgeous strawberries I grow in my garden. They are into their second fruiting this season and as they are grown near the roadside, I have to get in early to pick before the neighbours and children on bikes get to them.
PS They are there for everyone to eat though.
I have lots of these but mainly blue, probably because I spent so much time in the Girl Guides who had blue uniforms. But I also love blue sea and clear blue skies. Sorry this image is out of focus – also learning how to use instagram on my iPad to take photos.
