Wherever you go in Tasmania, you will hit water within a couple of hours. Here some fishermen are enjoying the pleasures of being on the Derwent River, Hobart.
Walked on Bellerive beach and this was the view to Hobart and Wrest Point Casino on far left (tall white building).
Some flowers in my suburb are still flowering despite it being autumn. This is either a grevillea or hakea. Anyone tell me ?
I love blogging and now I have retired from full time teaching, I get the chance to do it even more. Next week I will be visiting a couple of schools in northern Tasmania to show some teachers what blogging is all about.
This chook belongs to my neighbours but I often find it and its friends roaming my lawn area. Hope they don’t get into my vege garden!
Where else but Tasmania could you have cows crossing the road less than 15 minutes from the centre of a capital city?
