Went outside this morning and realised it was a cloudless sky. Looked in a 360 degree circle and the sky was totally blue. Wonder how long this type of weather will last?

Being an island state, we often have huge liners come in with thousands of passengers wanting to visit our tourist attractions. It used to be they would complain if they came over a weekend, as most shops used to close on Sundays – even now. At least they open on Saturdays for trading.
Picked my brother up from the airport and said he could drop me at the corner and I would walk home. I have been trying some night shots with my camera. Here is one of them. I like the green effect.
Not sure how I took this photo – might have held the button down too long, but these are lights at the local airport.
Since retirement, I am no longer racing around classrooms and down corridors, so I have to start exercising and eating better meals. This looks appetising.
I love blogging and now I have retired from full time teaching, I get the chance to do it even more. Next week I will be visiting a couple of schools in northern Tasmania to show some teachers what blogging is all about.
Where else but Tasmania could you have cows crossing the road less than 15 minutes from the centre of a capital city?
Very rarely does the mouth of our creek actually flow into the sea. If it was flushed regularly, maybe we wouldn’t have so many problems with the winter rains flooding some properties.
In the beachside suburb where I live, the council have been tarring the roads ready for the winter rainfall to wash it all away again.
