39/366 Scrounging

Lots of different birds at my place – sort of live in the country area with an inside block so not lots of traffic. This little magpie is scrounging for food beneath my undercover clothesline where the swallows often perch – hence the bird droppings.

34/366 Heading north

Wow! I am nearly three weeks behind in my posts. Luckily I can change the publish date. I have, though, been taking photos nearly every day.

On 3rd Feb  I was roused from my bed at 6.30am by a phone call.

“Can you please come and pick us up from the casino in Launceston? I have been ill all night and want to go to my local doctor in Hobart.”

My parents were on a bus tour and dad was not at all well. So I headed north for a two hour drive to pick them up, then we came back down the Midlands Highway through Campbell Town where these beautiful chain saw carvings were at the local park.

33/366 Checking books

Now that I have retired from classroom teaching, I needed to sort out all my teaching resources ready for a book stall next week. Many of the books were still at school, so I went down today to bring them home. One teacher was finding some good bargains in there and saved me bringing home extra weight in the car.

May I buy these, Sue?
