144/366 Liner at berth
Being an island state, we often have huge liners come in with thousands of passengers wanting to visit our tourist attractions. It used to be they would complain if they came over a weekend, as most shops used to close on Sundays – even now. At least they open on Saturdays for trading.
143/366 Black Swan
We are lucky in Tasmania to have beautiful black swans on many of our waterways. Wonder why they often stand on one leg only?
142/366 Swamp Hen
This purple swamp hen can be found in many parts of Australia.

140/366 Chocolate
This one is for Sue in Western Australia.
This is where the famous Cadbury chocolates are made in Tasmania.
139/366 Night shot
Picked my brother up from the airport and said he could drop me at the corner and I would walk home. I have been trying some night shots with my camera. Here is one of them. I like the green effect.
138/366 Airport lights
Not sure how I took this photo – might have held the button down too long, but these are lights at the local airport.
137/366 Chimney
Not sure when the house burnt down but this is all that remains of the chimney. We did have big bushfires in 1967 but I reckon it might have been more recent than that.
136/366 Colours of autumn
This image is for Diane – these are typical of our autumn colours in Tasmania in the Derwent Valley near New Norfolk.
135/366 Crabtree
134/366 Lachlan
We often go to a little restaurant at Lachlan near New Norfolk. This is the lovely BBQ area outside the restaurant. I have heard that the property is for sale – house, shop and restaurant.
